The evolution of the Roy Humphrey Group is a truly remarkable one. It is a story of one man's vision to build a complex, close to his roots, catering for all transport needs.

From the very day that Roy Humphrey resigned from his job as a motor mechanic 55+ years ago to work from a lean-to garage adjoining his parent's bungalow repairing Ford Anglia's and Morris Minor's, his desire to succeed was never in doubt.

Building on that modest start, Roy purchased the local garage at Yaxley extending the building on several occasions, in order to accommodate the new diverse array of services offered.

55 years on, his desire to succeed is evident to all. From a basic lean to garage to a 95-acre site accommodating and incorporating the latest technology. Roy still leads from the front and is very much hands-on. The management team is hand-picked applying the same standards that were applied in the early days: "Service 24 hours a day - 365 days of the year."
